Eco-Friendly Printer
Richard Kilby is the founder and owner of Barefoot Press — an eco-friendly, green printing company located near downtown Raleigh. Barefoot Press started in 1987 printing for musicians and artists. Today, they primarily work with small businesses and nonprofits who are interested in improving their environmental footprints.
Growing up, Richard's father worked as a professor of American Literature, and his mother was a journalist. As a result, Richard was surrounded by books and newspapers from an early age. Richard saw a need for green printing and the option for businesses to use recycled paper options. With a lot of hard work and perseverance, Barefoot Press was born.
Today, Barefoot Press offers offset and digital printing, large format printing, direct mail and graphic design support services, as well as a wide array of specialty finishing and in-house bindery options.
We are proud to support Richard's mission to celebrate nature by preserving it for generations to come.
