A local collaboration that all started with our rooftop bees.

Did you know we have beehives on our roof? Our five beehives are maintained by locally owned Bee Downtown. Each year we get creative and turn the honey we receive from our hives into a giveback. This year, we partnered with FireClay Cellars, a family owned and operated winery located less than an hour away from our office, to create two different flavored meads (honey wine) blueberry sage & baked apple.

The Friends that we collaborated with:

In order to maximize giving efforts, we pulled in our friends at Bee Downtown, The Loading Dock Raleigh, Chair8, and Fireclay Cellars to collectively donate $7,000 to our nonprofit partner, Urban Community AgriNomics (UCAN)!

With honeybees being the masters of collaboration that they are, it inspired us to include them on the can artwork. It was important to show them working together to create something great, much like the collaboration it took with the many different brands and organizations to make this project possible.

Beginning January 7th cans are available at Fireclay Cellars. These off dry aromatic meads are full of flavor and available in 2 packs or mixed 4 packs. For each draft pour and can, $3.50 goes directly to Urban Community AgriNomics.
